Ameer Kiani

Writer of psychological fiction, essays, and symbolic stories

A man with short dark hair and a light beard, smiling, wearing a burgundy velvet blazer over a white sweater, standing indoors with a blurred background of exposed brick wall and warm lighting.
Book cover titled 'Cloudy Amaranthine' by ASEER KIANI. Illustration of a woman in a flowing blue dress with long blue hair, floating above the water among whales and ethereal bird-like creatures, with a coastline, trees, and a house in the background under a sky with clouds and blue orbs.

I explore mind, identity, and meaning through story. My work blends forensic psychology, mythology, and lived experience into essays, short fiction, poems, and graphic novel projects.

Introducing my first story concept:

Cloudy Amaranthine

Zadora materializes in a cloud-born dream-world where the ocean, sky, and space bend to her will. As she tests her newfound power, she learns this realm has other forces watching her.

Firemouth & Moonface *

Firemouth and Moonface is a personal essay about fire, language, symbols, and the personas we build to carry our inner worlds. It reflects on identity, grief, archetypes, and the quiet power behind myth. My mouth has always put me in a predicament; it is my toxic trait and my favorite flaw.

Book cover titled "Firemouth and Moonface" by Ameer Kiani, featuring a fiery male figure and a ghostly female figure reaching out to each other against a night sky with a full moon and distant bridge.
